Product Updates
Product updates generally contain bug fixes or special features that have not yet been merged into a full product version. These updates are downloaded and installed on an existing installation of the base product. Please note the prerequisite base version and upgrade to that version before installing one of these updates. Version updates are free for existing users, so this is an opportunity to get the latest software.

Microsoft MDAC Updates
If you are using Legacy Family Tree and are getting messages about missing DLLs or ODBC errors, and you are not using Windows XP™, then you might need to install the latest data access components from Microsoft. You can use the link below to go to the page where you can download the MDAC 2.8 (or later) update kit, but this must be done strictly at your own risk. GHCS Software is not responsible for the use of these components or any effects that they may have on your system.
