This section will guide you in purchasing a registration code for any of our current products. As a home-based business, we have limited capabilities for accepting payments, but there are several resellers of our products whose links appear on the product sales pages. Most resellers offer several payment options in addition to the usual online credit-card methods.
Buying a Registration Code
For all of our products, downloading and installing the software is a separate procedure from actually purchasing it. All products can be installed and used in trial mode for a limited time period, after which you will have to purchase a registration code in order to continue using it. The software itself may prevent you from using it after the trial period.
The following are the current prices for our products, in U.S. dollars:

After purchasing the product from us or from a reseller, you will be given a registration code or password that is to be used to permanently unlock the product. In some cases, you might get this on a confirmation web page after making your purchase; in other cases, it will be delivered by email.
Entering the registration code itself is dependent on which product you have purchased. Follow the instructions in the confirmation message. For GedStar Pro, the code is entered into the conversion program that runs on your PC; for GedStar and GedStar-Plus, you enter the code into the application that runs on your handheld.

Product Version Upgrades
There are no charges for updating from any version of a product to any newer version of the same product. Visit the Download Page to see the latest versions and update your product if you would like to.
Cross-Product Upgrades
The only special offer at this time allows you to upgrade from GedStar Basic or GedStar-Plus to the newer, more powerful GedStar Pro. This offer requires direct payment to GHCS Software and is not available from our resellers. If you are interested, go to the Product Upgrade Page for further instructions.
