Pick List
This is used to select a new focus person from the entire set of names in the database. Filtering is
available to prune the number of names displayed, and the Lookup entry field can quickly scroll you to
the person you are looking for.
To use the Lookup field, start entering characters of the surname. When the list scrolls to the matching
surname, you can enter a comma (“,”), then enter characters of the given name (no spaces between the
comma and given name).
Tap to filter the
list. If a filter is
active, this icon
will be red or
solid black.
Blue indicates a
married name.
Red indicates a
variant name.
The “+”
indicates a
person with
descendants.
Green indicates
a primary name.
Scrollbar can
be dragged to
move through
the list.
Lookup field
scrolls the list as
you enter
characters.
Search in the
list by full or
partial name
.
Repeat search to
find next
matching name.
