This page enables you to download and install GedStar Pro for Windows, which is required in order to use the GedStar Pro for Android app. If you are an existing user, please visit the Change Log page to see what is new about the latest versions.

Windows Application

If you are a new user of GedStar Pro, you can download and install it and use it for a 28 day free trial period. After that time, you will have to return here to purchase a registration code if you want to continue to use it.

If you are already a registered user of GedStar Pro for Android, you can download and install it to update the version that you are currently using. In general, the latest version of the Windows application must be used with the latest update to the Android app.

• Download the installer and save it on your Desktop or other location.
• Double-click the downloaded file to run the auto-installer.
• Follow the instructions to complete the installation

Note to users of GedStar Pro for PalmOS: The Android app is an entire new development effort and is not considered an upgrade. It is necessary to purchase a new registration code to use it after the trial period. Thank you for your loyalty and understanding!

Android Application

The Android application can only be installed and updated from the official Android Market on your smartphone or other Android device. If you have a barcode scanning app installed, you can run it on your device and use your camera to scan the graphic below and it will take you to the GedStar Pro app page on the Android Market.
